‪I had a day off to go flats fishing. We went west of Key West in search of bonefish permit and barracudas. I fished with Captain Mike Bartlett and Captain Griff Hellwig. We all landed bonefish on fly and had a couple of shots at permit.

The past few days I have been struggling to catch tarpon , that being said I have been catching plenty of huge Barracuda, sharks and bonefish.

The Key west cuda bowl was the 1st and 2nd of February. I fished with Bob Crist for my first ever cuda tournament, we did not win any of the prizes but we had a great 2 days of fishing. Bob landed several barracudas and 2 really nice jacks.
