Today I had the pleasure of taking out Hector and Amy Rodreguez flats fishing for the first time. It was a windy cloudy day as we headed out of Key west harbour, shark fishing was first on the agenda so we hit a spot that is always successful on a falling tide. Hector hooked up the first shark that turned out to be a feisty 40-60 pounder and then Amy landed a 6+ ft shark that had to way over a 100 pounds. We then went barracuda fishing which turned out slow but Amy landed a nice cuda and Hector lost another before we headed back home after a great day of fishing.
