Key west flats fishing report 5/16/13

With the wind up and the tarpon fishing being tuff I was lucky to find a a school of tarpon that were willing to eat. The tide finally started to come in when John’s rod bent over and the line started to scream out. We fought this fish for about 10 minutes before we got our first jump, we were lucky to get a few more jumps before we broke off on the last jump. We decided to try something different and went barracuda fishing, John landed the first cuda and then his wife candy landed 2 others. We caught a few jacks before the day ended and we headed back to Key west.
