Key west flats fishing report 11/26/13

On a blustery day in Key west I took Jim Cassidy out flats fishing. We were delayed by a huge rain storm so our start time was around 9:30. I caught the very end of the falling tide a few miles west of Key west, sharks, permit and barracudas were the species of choice. We spooked a few permit before Jim made a perfect cast at a tailing fish that crushed the crab before it swam down to the bottom. Jim fought the fish for about 10 minutes before we landed it for the picture. We hooked a cuda about 5 minutes later after it smoked a tube lure, Jim fought through a few insane runs and jumps before we landed this fish for the picture. I made a big move to the east to find better lighting. We missed a few shots at permit before we spotted numerous sharks laying face into the tide. We made our first cast and the sharks quickly caught the scent of the bait, after a few seconds we had a fish on that we landed after a 10-15 minute fight. The clouds started gathering and we headed home after landing all the species we were looking for
