Yesterday I fished with Mitch and Lauren Jones from Michigan. We headed out looking for redfish on the flats but ended up landing a few lemon sharks. We headed to the flats and caught plenty of sizable jacks that were feeding off the backs of sting rays. At my next stop we were greeted by acres of feeding jack and both Mitch and Lauren hooked several fish before are day ended.

Today I fished with Duane and Paul Mason, we started out looking for tarpon. My first spot did not work but Duane hooked up and landed a nice 40-60 pound tarpon on the second stop. We fished a backcountry channel and the action was incredible, we landed pompano, blue fish, lady fish, jacks and snappers. We used 1 of the lady fish for shark bait and landed 2 lemons sharks between 30-60 pounds. Paul had a few close call with jacks on sting rays before he hooked up a nice 5 pounder, we then saw a bunch of birds working on the horizon. I raced over and we landed a huge jack that was feeding on ballyhoos.
